Synopsis
The pathophysiologies of psychiatric disorders remain largely enigmatic, due both to the inherent complexity the complexity of the nervous system and the technical limitations in studying the human brain at cellular resolution. Towards this goal, our approach has been to define clinical observations and epidemiological findings as a starting point for leveraging human genomics, fundamental neuroscience, and human pluripotent stem cell modeling.
